County Final Build Up

27th October 2019

The excitement around the village and the school is palpable in the run up to the county senior football final. Oola will feature for the first time in 39 years, long before any of our pupils were around. Red and white have been the dominant colours in art lessons of late. With the help of Tim Crowe we used a drone to record our good luck message to the team. We had a red and white day in our school on Thursday 24th. Parents from the community helped us make some red and white plaits to wear to the match and every pupil received a commemorative match ticket. We featured in the Limerick Leader. We even had a special Oola G.A.A. cake!

Oola N.S. would like to acknowledge Tim Crowe for his assistance in creating this video.
