Irish Aid Regional Finals

Pupils from 3rd and 4th and from 5th and 6th entered the Irish Aid awards for the first time this year. This years theme was Leave No One Behind. Pupils put a lot of work into these projects and learned lots. We are delighted to report that both projects reached the Regional Finals which are held in Sligo, Dublin, Limerick and Cork for the top 15 schools in each region. Representative pupils from each school attended a great day in Tailteann, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on May 15th. Representatives from 3rd 4th and from 5th 6th collected their awards on behalf of their class on the day. An added bonus was Oola N.S. were awarded Best Newcomer for the region.
